FOUR SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR DEALING IN DRUGS : Yesterday ( Monday 2011-06-06 ) at approximately 14:00 , the Woodstock Police executed a searched warrant in Gympie street , and arrested three(3) men between the ages of 23 and 35 years old and a 20 year old women, for being in possession of drugs to the street value of R10 000-00. The arrest follows after police followed up on information received from the community about alleged drug trafficking activities at the Gympie street home. We reacted swiftly ,and during the execution of a search warrant , we confiscated 25 bank bags filled with dagga and 50 units of heroin (unga) .We also confiscated an substantial amount of cash . The estimated street value of the drugs confiscated is +- R10 000 -00. The suspects currently in police custody are facing charges of Dealing and possession of drugs and will appear in the Cape Town magistrates’ court tomorrow ( Wednesday 2011-06-08).
