FOUR SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE Last night ( Monday 2011-06-06) at approximately 18:50 , the Woodstock police arrested four(4) men between the ages of 43 and 26 years old , for being in possession of a stolen Toyota Tazz motor vehicle. The arrest follows after police attended to a complaint in Saulsbury road Woodstock , where a complainants number plates were stolen from his parked Toyota Tazz vehicle. During concentrated crime prevention patrols , police members spotted a similar Toyota Tazz vehicle , traveling in the direction of Cape Town, displaying the reported stolen number plates . A police pursued ensued, and the vehicle with four occupants were stopped and searched in Searl street. We tested the engin number of the vehicle , and the result identified that the vehicle was reported stolen earlier this month in Mitchell’s Plain. The four suspects currently in police custody are facing chargers of Theft of motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.
