This is totally unacceptable. I really hope this man is found and that
charges are laid against him.

Dogs are NOT allowed in the kiddies park - for obvious reasons. The dog
park is around the corner - but sounds as if we don't want him there
either!

Hi All

Please provide us with the address so we can follow up.

I would suggest opening a police case as it is definitely assault! And
as you mentioned its quite sad that someone would behave in such a way.

Please let me know if I can assist in anyway.

Kind Regards,

Subject: Incident at Barrington Street Kiddies park

Dear David,

I would like to report an incident that took place the week before last
in the Barrington Street Kiddies park, but I'm not sure who I should
contact. You have been very helpful in the past and I thought I would
email you first for your advice.

On Thursday June 2nd at about 1.30pm, my nanny Tabisa Malashe went alone
to the kiddies park to look for a teddy she thought my daughter had
forgotten there. The park was locked so she opened it with a key. She
was followed into the park by a man and his two dogs.

Tabisa walked around the park looking for the teddy. The man let his
two dogs off their leashes and they ran and viciously attacked Tabisa.
The man did not restrain his dogs. Tabisa was, understandably,
terrified and very shaken. The dogs did not break her skin but they did
rip her clothing quite badly.

The man told Tabisa she ought to buy herself a new sweater.

I would like to make sure that this man is never allowed into the park
or any other Observatory park where children and nannies congregate
again. He behaved in a callous and cruel way and accepted no
responsibility for the behaviour of his dogs. The nannies in the area
are quite sure they know who this man is and where he lives. They don't
know his name but can point out his house.

David, I'm not sure if this is something I should report to the police,
but my husband and I are shocked and saddened that someone would behave
in this way and would like to take whatever action we can.

Kind regards,

Aoife Lennon-Ritchie
