Hi all, Please phone Vetus Schola for these noise complaints on 021 - 447 - 1066.
Vetus Schola will respond to each call and should be there timeously. From experience it is best to phone them as soon as you hear the disturbance - as some these incidents might seem to be 'drunkards' at the time - but in reality a crime in progress. If the 'offenders' are regular offenders Vetus Schola can identify them as such - and if the people do get out of hand VS can then contact SAPS to resolve the situation. We have some 'PLEASE LEAVE QUIETLY' signs that OBSID made especially for this and we will attempt to add them to the locations mentioned. If you're a resident that is having this problem - please post the exact spot (*and if known, the club or pub where the patrons are coming from*) on this message board. (or email to ancois @ obsid . org . za). In the case of a particular club / pub we can approach them and also check this against their closing times to see whether they are operating with-in their liquor licence. If they are not, we can the alert the appropriate authorities to remedy this for the long term.
