Good day Mr Cowley****

** **

The purpose of victim support is primarily to calm the victim , to listen to
the complaint and to refer to the relevant professional services.****

Therefore , you are quite correct in saying that Saps Refers the victim to
the relevant professional service.****

However , this procedure is not only followed in serious cases but in all
cases , depending on whether the victim requests it.****

Being a victim of crime is in its own, a very serious matter and therefore
, all cases are treated as serious.****

** **

I wish to add that *Saps members and Victim Support Volunteers DO NOT
COUNSEL VICTIMS , but infact , LISTEN AND REFER.*

* *

For further enquiries regarding victim support , please feel free to contact
me.**
