I came to Obs 26 years ago. Obs was a great place till the Heidelberger opened the year after.
This was the first pub as far as I remember and a noisy one at that. Heidelberger had the PAC attack in which one of my friends died in vain. SA became independent which was one of histories greatest moments Heidelberger became Roots became Trenchtown which is now again a great place The Heidelberger was the only pub now there are many with a half dozen very noisy The freedom came without responsibilities but nobody was told about that. Now Obsid gets blamed for that.
