Hilton and others with concerns I see the OCA has just made a submission including some letters and email from concerned residents. I am not sure what the closing date for comments/objections is but I suggest that you make your comment or objection promptly and send it to Henk Stutterheim - or just post your letter in the group or to me and I will forward to Henk.
To summarise - the City and the Subcouncil have reported that they need more information about the exact erf number and the business license needs to be applied for. The OCA has noted some objections as have the surrounding residents. The objections are based on the fact that the business is right in a residential area, there is no parking and the business is applying for a license to trade till 4am and the fact that that there will be noise issues. The proximity to the new res has also been mentioned as a cause for concern for lots of potential rowdy customers.
