Hi all
It is very sad to see hard work from all role players are being taken for nothing. I have just noticed one of the suspects just walked in here at the office asking questions and he mentioned that he was locked up for public nuisance. What else must or can we do to ensure that the criminals caught in the act is not out the very next day breaking cars stealing etc in our area? Is this due to plain and simple laziness or what. I know dockets take time and most crime reported is at change over times and peak times. It is useless catching these criminals knowing they will be out the very next day, we won't have that piece of mind knowing they are locked up. Let us not work against each other there is still too many criminals at large. They were seen on camera as they tried to open a car. They had a 25 liter can full of petrol that they stole from another vehicle. Unfortunately the owners couldn't be reached as we attempt on several occasions. One of these suspects confirm that he wanted to steal the battery. Hopefully they will also be linked to other battery theft in Observatory.
