A thief gained access to my property from the rear, by scaling a wall which adjoins a private parking area for retail shops (corner of Norwich Ave & Lower Main Rd).
Steel sheeting was ripped off the back of my garage to open the door's interior bolt lock. Taken were various tools, a carpenters waist bag and a De Walt angle grinder. Knowing that the property was unoccupied (about to be renovated), they also kicked in the back door and stole more hand tools and some paints (dark blue enamel and white acrylic) from a front room inside. They then exited the property by the front and left the door open. I have since secured the property further by placing razor wire on the back wall. But the property is still vulnerable due to the adjoining commercial property being easily accesible by scaling it's street-side fence. I have also called Woodstock police twice this week to report it, but no officers or detectives have been back in touch yet.
