Prison Hamlet : Shakespeare Literacy Programme - Revising Meaning with
the Bard. An archival exploration of incarceration, masculinity, and
the dream state, through classical theatre. A project in collaboration
with the Independent Theatre Movement of South Africa directed by
Tauriq Jenkins, and Ottery Educational Youth Care Centre. Performed by
youth awaiting trial and youth at risk, and ITMSA actors, and musicians.

Witness a first in South African history.

The Shakespeare Literacy Programme by the ITMSA has been an ongoing
intervention for 3 years, focussing on youth awaiting trial and youth
at risk in centres such as Bonnytoun House and now Ottery Education
and Youth Care Centre.
