Dear Lt Colonel Redelinghuys On behalf of the Observatory Neighbourhood Watch and the community of Observatory I too salute you for all that you had done and achieved in your years of service at the Woodstock SAPS as the Visible Policing Head and as the Second in Command. Knowing that management of the Woodstock Police Station has been no trivial matter which took your utmost skill and tenacity especially as at Woodstock, which is known as the best training ground in the Western Cape for any Police person under training or to be posted to, as the Woodstock terrain offers such a complex exposure of policing experience. But that you stood your grounds and placed your stamp of command in every respect is what distinguished you as a true leader, and to be regarded with much affection by your peers subordinates and with respect by all who have crossed paths with you.
Thank you for your tireless effort in Policing of Observatory, we wish you every success and blessing in your new tasking of post assigned to you. Your farewell word 'To change the man that you are, before you can expect to see a change in someone else', will remain in my every day thought as well. *James Cowley* *082 926 1220* *021 448 2824 (t&f)* Observatory Neighborhood Watch: Chairman On 19 January 2012 10:20, Teun Baartman <[email protected]> wrote: > I have sent the following letter to the People's Post.
