Hi

I've already spoken with Willie. He's been the sweetest most helpful
neighbour despite everything that's happened. He even called to say I
could bath at his home if the need arose!

A while back , someone was burning copper wires at his property & I
brought it to his attention. He cannot , however , be held liable for
anything that happens at his properties when he is not present.

My case number: 599/5/2012

Regards

Colleen

Hi Colleen
Pity to note about the loss of copper pipe.

Please consider to report it Woodstock SAPS via 10111 and kindly get a
Ref number.

SAPS needs to be made aware of the matter otherwise it goes under
their radar, unnoticed or not concerned with trends as this.

Remember to add Willie into all your emails concerning him as your
neighbour, it is only fair, and gives him the opportunity to respond
to the matters of concern to you.

Kind regards

James

At about 7:15pm on Sunday nite , someone turned off my stopcock
(conveniently located outside for all & sundry to access if they
wish).

My neighbour , Willie , came out to give me a hand turning it on (at
this point , I ruled out naughty children unless they pushed weights
everyday & had nails & screws for breakfast).

Also , someone had tampered with the barricade I had set up at my back
gate after a previous break-in.

Yesterday I arrived home to find someone had turned off my stopcock
again...I went out to investigate & found about 12 metres of copper
pipe had been removed along the side of my house.

Now the funny thing is , I have a gate with a burglar bar type fence
ontop of it making me suspicious as to how the delinquents gained
entry.......

Which leads to another upsetting instance which occurred on Saturday
morning.....I awoke to find 2 missed calls from my (helpful)
neighbour.....when I went outside , I found a ladder in my property
leading to the top of my neighbour's roof.I called the neighbour who
said he had tried to reach me as he needed to work on his
gutters...when he received no answer , he figured he could just go
ahead , trespass & do what he needed to do.....As far as I'm concerned
, this is cause for concern but I am not sure how to tackle it.The
neighbour is the owner of a lodge which has been raided for drugs &
prostitution in the past...& who is now showing all his lodgers how to
gain entry to my property....Apparently this is not the first time one
of his workers have accessed my property while I was not there......

I am seriously disturbed (never mind put out by the waterpipes being
stolen) by all of this & wonder if anyone has advice.....
