Concerning the tyre slashing incident early Saturday morning 2 June 2012, a
SAPS case was opened re the combi on Scott road with 4 tyres slashed, and
is to serve all the owners of vehicles along Lytton and Milton Roads which
suffered damage. All the vehicle registration numbers were taken by SAPS
and were added to the case - Woodstock Ref No: CAS 39/6 2012 - Constable
S. Mambela will investigate the matter - Tel No: 021 486 2840.
Two seemingly unrelated individual tyre slashing cases happened in
Woodstock during the same night/morning but are not ruled out as a link to
the equation in Obs.
Some camera footage of the car along Milton Road, which was also slashed,
was checked but revealed nothing untoward between the hours of 3 to 4 am,
but subsequently an incident along Scott & Wesley Road are being checked
out.
Kindly contact the Woodstock Detective should you have any suspicion or
observation which may be of help towards finding the perpetrator/s.
Kind regards
James
