I don't think they lady concerned was saying domestic animals are being caught she was simply at the shop to buy other goods and noticed the traps being prominently displayed. They are unfortunately legal so they have every right to display them as distasteful as it may seem to some. We can certainly hope the lady refused to buy goods from the shop and took her money elsewhere.
