Info: Lt Colonel Vuyelwa - Visible Policing - Woodstock SAPS
Info: Sergeant Andreas: Criminal Data Analysis
Info: Sergeant Malila: Communications Officer
Att: Constable Mark Berry : Observatory SAPS Sector Area Manager

Hi Ian
I think this was the same matter as was discussed this morning's OBSID
Security bi-weekly meeting which OPS and ONW attend.
The OPS Manager indicated he will take it up with SAPS direct.
I also asked that he raises the issue as a complaint to, the Obs CPF Sub
Forum which meets next Tuesday evening, and either or - to raise it to the
Woodstock CPF as a complaint which next meets 11 September.

It is an unacceptable situation, and is not the first time that SAPS give
no feedback - as to if and when, they will attend to a complaint.
We have only one SAPS Reaction Vehicle in the Obs area.

   - If the S1 vehicle is busy, they can and do at times - relocate the
other Sector's vehicle to respond to our incident/s.
   - Unfortunately, due to our ONW 2 Way Radio Network between SAPS and OPS
not fully functional, these matters are made worse.
   - Usually, if the S1 Reaction vehicle indicated that they were busy
elsewhere, we would request via radio to SAPS to send another vehicle etc.

I will forward your email to SAPS, OCPFSF and OPS for good measure.
Regards
James
