Can I ask you friends, do you know Gerald's story? He walks up and down Observatory every day, asking for money, or wanting to do odd jobs for a few rand or food, etc. His health is seemingly in a very poor condition and he is always talking about his wife and kids. Does anyone know how long he's been coming to Obs? I've helped him a few times, but due to my own personal situation I cannot give so readily anymore. I've explained to him but still he comes a lot to ask and ask. It's getting quite hectic. Anyhoo, just wondered what the word is about him. thanks Cranko Road Resident
