I am receiving numerous complaints about the parks in Obs. We are blessed to have in our small suburb *five* parks. (Barrington Rd, Station Rd, Arnold St, Rochester Rd and Scott Rd.) These are all City of Cape Town parks - funded by the rate payers so all are allowed access. Some years ago there was a request to *unlock* the parks - fortunately this request was refused.
However, you do *not* need to own a dog to use the dog park, you do *not* need to have a child to use the Kiddies Park...... Purchase a key and abide by the "rules". The Arnold St dog park is maybe the best of the lot- plenty of benches and shade available at all times - and an exquisite view. Just appreciate the treasures we have here.
