My wife Sharyn and I wish to thank those who responded to our cries for
help in trying to locate our beloved cat Maxi, who disappeared on the
evening of Easter Sunday.
Your words of comfort and support helped to soften the blow of our loss.
During his seven year reign, Maxi was the undisputed ambassador to our
local community, as well as strangers passing through. One young
student en route to and from University would regularly stop for a chat
and fondle, and on one occasion was heard to sing to him. Everybody was
his friend.
After an outing he would suddenly appear out of nowhere, sidle up to my
driver's door and utter a few loud meows of welcome before accompanying
me to the front door. He used to repeat this procedure to his other
friends.
Maxi will be sorely missed by those whom he befriended, and his memory
will live in our hearts forever.
Tyrone and Sharyn.
