Thank you Trevor, I got it.
About the bombings, it was about 3 months ago. In the night someone threw petrol bombs through the window of a catering/décor hire business in the business park in Howe street (the beige one with the blue window frames). I live in the top of 5 Howe, so my balcony overlooks this. I heard glass break, and immediately jumped up as one does when being the man of the house with wife and child to protect. I saw flames in the building across (where Martin Graphics are) and phoned the police, while on the phone, to my right they threw more bombs at a different part of the building. This lead to numerous explosions as the fire reached geysers, gas bottles and fire extinguishers in the building. The fire department battled for hours to extinguish the fire, but the damage was done. I do not know the motive, perhaps an ex-employee of the business who got fired, or perhaps the business had bad debt with the wrong people. Who knows? I walked out and told the police that I was the one who called them and that I witnessed the second bombing from my balcony. They said thanks, but did not ask me any questions. Alternatively if you set up filters in your mail client you can still receive these emails but they will not bother you or clutter up your inbox. And finally since I live in Howe street I would be interested to know more of this petrol bombing incident of which I have never heard. If you fail to remove yourself or change to digest let me know and I can provide further help. I appreciate that in the time it has taken me to reply I simply could have removed you 5 times over, but I am all about teaching the man to fish.......... trev On Wed, Apr 8, 2015 at 8:37 AM, Piet De Wet <[email protected]> wrote: > May I kindly ask that the moderator of this email group remove me from it. > > I really thought I wanted to know more about what goes on in my neighbourhood > since that night I witnessed the petrol bombings in Howe street.
