In the last few days there have been a spate of incidents in Strubens Road and neighbouring streets.
On April 6 at 23:41 a resident from Strubens Road wrote the following on our Whatsapp group: "Just chased a man out of our house [...] called police [...] short black man with a squint eye". On April 2 at 21:00, residents reported that a woman was attacked in Crown Street by three guys with knives hiding in the bushes. Residents chased them but they escaped in a vehicle. Police took a statement. And two nights ago there was an attempt to break into a Citi Golf in Alfred Street.
