My husband just flushed a thief out of the alley between our house (14) and our neighbours' (12). Coloured guy, about 170cm, blue stripey tracksuit top, middle aged.
He'd broken the fence open next door and pulled their outside tap off the wall. Our maid was in the bathroom and saw him sneaking past the window outside. Husband went out and shouted at him as he was removing the tap and he fled down Ivy towards Liesbeek. Thank heavens our back gate was locked.
