Some more good news: On Wednesday evening, the Liquor
Authority issued a warning to Ezethebeni Braai Lounge to shut
down because they are trading without a valid liquor licence.
Last night they defied the order. The warning was repeated
this morning and their fake liquor licence was removed from
the wall of the bar. The LA have officially informed SAPS that
Ezethebeni is trading illegally. It is now up to SAPS to
confiscate the stock and shut the bar down if they continue
trading this weekend. If our police station follows through
with this, the subforum's first official business will be to
convey a hearty thanks to Col Ntsezo.

The Woodstock Police have confirmed this morning that the
election meeting to constitute an Obs CPF subforum will
indeed take place on Thursday, 7 May at 19h00 at the Obs
Community Centre.
We must aim to elect at least a chair, secretary and
treasurer in order to constitute a subforum.
The Woodstock police have indicated that they want to make
sure that the meeting is "representative of the
community". It is therefore going to be important to get
as many people as possible at the meeting.
