and then chuck their butts down... I tackled on such ou, and he yelled
at me saying 'I didn't put it on the street'. Indeed he did not, but
straight down the drain...
Perhaps H&F should put an ashtray outside for their clientele..

sentences of 6 months to 2 years for certain offenders. In serious
cases both fines and prison sentences can be handed down.

I have attached a few pics snapped just after the encounter I
had in Arnold Street moments ago.
A Taxi driver presumably had just dropped of a couple of girls
who were standing in-front of a house not far away. As he was
about to return to his vehicle he casually threw down a
niknaks packet and kicked it under the car. I stopped my car
and asked him what he thought he was doing to which he
responded that he would pick it up and got into his taxi and
closed the door as if to drive away. I approached the car to
pick up the packet myself and he began shouting at me to get
away. I am ashamed to say at this point I lost my temper and
swore at him. I said "You are making a f***in mess of
Observatory" and then immediately apologised to the driver for
what I had said. I include this detail as I am sure it will
come up if the diver is ever questioned about this incident.
After I had picked up the chip packet he reversed rapidly away.
This may seem like a petty incident, and I admit that I have a
personal issue with litterers, but it really is an act of
blatant disrespect for the area as a whole, and to the
tireless efforts of the Obsid cleaners who must pick up after
lazy litterbugs like this. Littering is also a CRIME! A dirty
area attracts a dirty element.
I hope Obsid will take this forward somehow and at least
caution the driver in question. Who is the correct person to
forward this information to?
