Thanks Simon, The new Bylaw sets fines between R500 and R10 000. It also calls for criminal sentences of 6 months to 2 years for certain offenders. After I had picked up the chip packet he reversed rapidly away.  This may seem like a petty incident, and I admit that I have a personal issue with litterers, but it really is an act of blatant disrespect for the area as a whole, and to the tireless efforts of the Obsid cleaners who must pick up after lazy litterbugs like this. Littering is also a CRIME! A dirty area attracts a dirty element. I hope Obsid will take this forward somehow and at least caution the driver in question. Who is the correct person to forward this information to?
