I truly hope that this will not be the case. Visible proactive security is a lot more effective than delayed responses . A lot of damage can be caused during that time and you might not be so lucky to stop the same culprit from causing more damage and hurt , until you finally track him down as a result of delayed response. I do not say camera’s do not serve a purpose but there is nothing like visible patrolling.
I am just not sure these guards we have , are the answer, but I know the budgets and laws create limits for us to operate within. Wouldn't a few patrollers on bicycles be just as quick to respond as one in a vehicle, given the small size of the suburb?
