The Obsid COO instructed Ops (*Obsid Public Safety) on 26 Jan 2015 ** "to report all such incidents to SAPS and to record the response*."
Requested the same day "*Please let us have a feed-back of what Saps did or didn't do*" The newly instituted Observatory Community Police Sub-Form (Section 1) already gave a feed-back and in order of transparency it is now requested that Obsid does likewise to the rate paying residents of Observatory. Could Obsid also please clarity whether residents can report report illegal car guards incidents to Ops on 021 447-1066 and that this will be relayed to Saps ? Still better would be if all Mobiles and patrollers pro-actively reported any observations of informal car guards to Mark Berry and or the Saps patrol vehicles now it has been clarified by Saps that they will be removed. The re-instated two-way community radio system should make this easier with Sector Vehicle, Manager and Relief Commander all being on the system. Looking forward to Obsid's response.
