Seems its that time of year and its “Irwell Streets” turn. One of my students had her rental car broken into last night. The battery, tools, spare tyre were stolen from the trunk of the vehicle. A patrol would help, but for as long as the Police are not present in the area, these crimes will continue. Street lighting does not make a difference, we are well lit on the Makulu Lodge side and thieves are confident they will get away with crime.
