Im sick of these bastards who cause havoc in Obs. Would you like to be part of a Street watch? I think we should all get together on Irwell Street and employ our own “night guard”. I have someone we could use. This will be a deterrant. It would cost about R2500.00 per month. If all residents contribute something towards it per household maybe it will work for us. I have lost 4 wing mirrors, had my house broken into, my weber braai stolen, my students cars vandalised, even had cars stolen. Its only a matter of time before we have another robbery. It sickens me that we have to live like this. In the past 2 months I have had to replace all 4 door handles on my car due to thieves totally mangling all 4 door handles. Is it possible we can get a lamp pole on the corner of Irwell and Milton Road ? This corner is very dark at night. Alternatively could the mobile unit be station in this area perhaps ?
