Sorry, I got a lot going on in life right now. Got a job, not a great job but, I can make some money at least. Gonna have to take a break from the occupation for a few days. If I do make it out, I think I'll check out the Durham site. I'm posting something in outreach I hope many will read. Check it out.

At one point in the violence, when people acting as medics went to help an injured protester, an officer deliberately threw a flash bang grenade into the group. Out of outrage and condemnation of these heinous acts, and in solidarity with the call for a General Strike throughout Oakland this Wednesday, November 2nd, the Occupy Durham General Assembly has called for a march and rally from the Occupy Durham encampment at Durham People's Plaza to the Police Headquarters on Chapel Hill St., where we will give an update on Oakland, the general strike, and other Occupy city encampments followed by speakers discussing government repression within and outside of the Occupy Movement. We also hope to issue a statement asking the police chief not to issue orders to remove encampments in Durham - though the exact language will be discussed at the Monday, October 31st, General Assembly in Durham at 7pm. We offer an invitation to anyone who would like to speak out about government repression, and state sponsored violence against our rights to speech and to freely assemble, to join us this Wednesday at Noon for a March and Rally. Details can be found below and in the calendar section of www.occupydurham.org ------------------------------------------- Solidarity with Occupy Oakland and Oakland General Strike March and Rally Against Government Repression Wednesday, November 2nd - 12pm NOON Starting at noon, we'll march from Durham People's Plaza to Durham Police Headquarters ...
