This Java Consultant will be working on the Analytics project. There is an existing system in which adding functionality will be built on the Core Back end and FRONT END of the application. Group builds systems for Quants/Sales/Trading Desk These systems deal with Trading Activity and Performance leveraging Analytics to show how well their Trading versus traditional benchmarks (VWAP, other Dark Pools, Exchanges, etc.). Project is at least 1 year long. **THIS ROLE COMBINES BOTH STRONG FRONT END AND CORE BACK END skills (Java/Multithreading/Synchronization/AJAX/JQuery/HTML/JSP/FLEX). Front End (maintenance and bug fixes and adding additional graphs, graphical representation of software Pie charts (JFreeChart is the package). Not interested in only Front end skills for this role. Wants deep Core Server Side.
