Not to be discouraged . One person Sri Lakshmesha  has built in visual
studio 2005 successfully  based on  ocropus 0.1.1  vide uploaded files
section noted below.  I have copy link location(from files section) and
pasted here for ready reference.  Trust on the lines of built by Lakshmesha,
you may be able to build in visual stuido 2008 also with little efforts.
