As Bill suggested, I'd go plain vanilla style - ./configure && make && sudo make install; I am using OCRopus 0.3 but plan to migrate to 0.4/0.5 in near future (I still have a lot of figuring out to do meself). Just as a general rule, I managed to get everything working on 0.3 excluding Leptonica. Make sure you read the README and INSTALL inside OCRopus directory and have all the dependencies installed before proceeding to ./configure OCRopus. Most of the header files needed for OCRopus are available through *-dev packages on Debian/Ubuntu but should be smilliar for other distributions. There were instances where I had to manually hack on the header files of various dependencies because the they were trying to include from a wrong directory (e.g. - OpenFST). -- Regards, Ishwor Gurung --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ocropus" group.
