Tom, Thanks for the update. I just checked out ocroswig, but there seems to be some files missing. The source of test-ocropus.py refers to scan_TextImage_embedded.png but only scan_TextImage_embedded2.png is there (and it does not match the results in TestImages).
Also there appears to be in the python scripts (extract -chars.py) an ocroutil module. But otherwise its working fine.
