You should _never_ use rpm's from another distro on Ubuntu. On Ubuntu
the packages you need are called (at least on the development version
that I'm running)
  libmagick++9-dev
  libmagick9-dev
You can just install these packages using synaptic. But first, get rid
of the rpm stuff you installed. These will screw up your system.
