It seems I forgot to CC the list in my reply, so I'm readding it. I do not have the expertise to do a proper verification of your code (I simple don't know the first thing about your field). What I and Thomas have done is to check for common mistakes (forgetting license information, etc.), and your code looks fine. As to the actual release of your code then things get into a worse state. Currently the release process if that I once in a while make a new release of all packages. This process is quite terrible, as the timing depends too much on my personal life, and I always end up making many mistakes. So, we are in the process of changing the release system to allow package maintainers to release their packages when it suits them. This process is, however, not finished yet :-( So, the current situation is somewhat "muddy". I'm sorry that I can't really give a better answer.
