thnaks to the great work done by Søren Hauberg
the process for releasing Octave-forge packages is about
to be changed from the previous "monolithic" system to
an approach where each maintainer is responsible for
releasing her own packages, unfortunately neither I nor
Søren seem to have had much time to devote to this lately...

If you are in a hurry to see your package released, you are
encouraged to try out the new procedure described at

http://octave.sourceforge.net/test/developers.html

in the section:
"Make a release of your package and publish its function reference".

P.S. Søren, what about moving the new website to production? I believe  
that if it is let
free in the wild it will finally start getting more attention and  
testing.
