I'm guessing here... When 'generate_html' displays lists of functions,
it shows the first line of the help text. The first line is extracted by
looking for the first period ('.') on the help text. I guess this is
what's causing your help texts to be truncated. I consider this a bug in
'generate_html'; it should ensure the the character following the period
is a blank character. I'll put this on my TODO, but others feel free to
have a look :-)
