Is there any development being made on serial port communication?
I think serial port functions would benefit Octave a lot. Think
>>Arduino<<. It would be possible to receive data from hardware and process
it with Octave.
Im an Electrical Engineering student so my knowledge is more on the
hardware side, but I also have some experience with serial port libraries.
Did someone ever tried to use QExtSerialPort (non-oficial Qt library,
crossplatform) with Octave?
Im interested in contributing to Octave but first I would like to know if
there are some people already doing some work on this area.
