Hello all:
Three months ago I was introduced to Octave and downloaded the version at that
time and it performed well. Then I uninstalled due to a few issues (I'll
address them in future emails) and upon downloading, the Setup Wizard did not
appear with the run button to execute the install.
Upon activating the downloaded Octave icon, a window appears asking what
application I want to open the file with. Can you answer that? Obviously
something has changed without the Setup Wizard. Because of this I am not
functional.
This is my first email and I am not sure if this is the forum to raise this
issue. If not, can you direct me to where I need to be?
I have a Microsoft Vista operating system and attempting to install Octave
3.4.3. My background in programming is limited so keeping your responses at a
top level would be appreciated.
