Hi, could someone (Carnë?) please release optim-1.1.0 and struct-1.0.10 (on which optim-1.1.0 depends), which have been uploaded to the release forum?
The optim release has been made since the Makefile change regarding LAPACK had not as yet been released, but there are a few more changes. I left the version 'jump' 1.0... -> 1.1... in, though I don't know if there is a reason for it just now. As I understand 'Date' in 'DESCRIPTION' should contain the date of the last change, not the date of the release, so I think there should be no need to insert placeholders there. It is probably best to increment the version number imediately after a release, either to the next intended version number or by appending a '+'. Carnë, I removed the 'end' inserted by you at the end of some function files in optim since these particular functions were meant to run also in Matlab for some reason (which complains about the 'end' if I remember right).
