The extra files I have on people.apache.org are probably because the
pl=. flag was not working, so I had to build everything.
There should be a folder called release/$TAG in the target folder which
contains all the files in a nice structure. You can just scp the whole
folder to your apache account. Those were the files we voted on in the
last release and those should be the correct ones.
I think I know what could be wrong with the command for the release:
pl=. probably only works with Maven 3. You could try the command with
pl=odftoolkit (which is the name of the project).
