I'm not sure I agree with that. If _cvs.bb's are to float, lets have
them all float.

I don't think we should be locking down floating dates by default. I do
think there might be a role for a known_good_src_dates.inc file. Whether
this was included by any given distro by default would be up to the
distro but I'd suggest not doing so. Individual users would be free to
include it in their local.conf and we can even add it as documentation
in local.conf.sample and GettingStarted.

I have quite a large list of known to work SRCDATEs from poky which I
could add to OE. Would anyone object to having such a file as a
compromise solution?
