Yes, I have had good success with kernel version 2.6.13-hh1 and the h555x handhelds. At least it works as advertised. > I got it to compile these days (required patches attached to bugs #815), but > it's still not working -- with EABI enabled. There is a bunch of stuff you have to do to get it to boot off of CF too. See the hh.org wiki. > With EABI disabled (but otherwise using the EABI compatible toolchain -- > current .dev, angstrom-2006.9 config with the linux-gnueabi hardcode changed > to plain linux, and compile fix from bug #993 applied), it gets a lot > further, but apparently the MTD stuff isn't working - Kernel panic - not > syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0) > > FS parameters seem to be set correctly, root=/dev/mdtblock1. > > Any ideas? Well, org.openembedded.dev will build 2.6.15-hhx, which is known not to work at all with h5400. Nor does 2.6.16-hh0. So the first step in the dev tree is to scale back the version number for h3900. Then one could apply your raft of patches to actually get h3900 to compile. A lot of your questions are more relavent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and not [email protected] since the h5400 port in 2.6 is highly experimental.
