OWMNR stands for Open Wireless Metropolitan Network Router and is a Linux
distribution targeted at the creation of a wireless router for use with
Wireless Community Networks.
It was created out of the need for a small, cross platform distro that would
be used by the members of Athens Wireless Metropolitan Network
(www.awmn.net).
OWMNR includes only the components necessary to a wireless router targeted
for deployment in a Wireless Community Network. This results in a
light-weight (in terms of size), but fully functional distro, customized for
the specific platform. The current version of OWMNR can fit in a 32MB CF and
includes

    * Linux kernel 2.6.12
    * uclibc-0.9.28
