------- Comment #2 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-07-04 00:50 ------- (In reply to comment #1) > Unstable is not expected to compile cleanly and most thing are expected to be > broken. > It is also unmaintained, all of the working Familiar files are in the ozfam > branch. > Nigel, could you please stop being ignorant? If you don't know how OE works, keep away from the bugtracker!!! I will try to explain: 1) this is about a *kernel* not working, which has nothing todo with a distro (maybe a logo patch, but that's it) 2) since kernels have nothing to do with distros they should always compile, regardless of distro 3) but a kernel is only 'garanteed' to compile if you pick the right machine, which isn't the case here. Michael, handhelds-sa (sa as in strongarm) is the wrong kernel, you need handhelds-pxa, which indeed does have a defconfig. The bug is indeed invalid, but not because of the *completely wrong* explanation nigel gave, -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.openembedded.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Oe mailing list [email protected] https://www.handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/oe
