Hi,
I'd like to propose adding PN to the list of overrides used by OE in the
form ":pn-${PN}" (we can't use ${PN} directly as that would cause chaos
for some of the packaging variables).
This would standardise "magic" that certain variables like SRCDATE have
but would mean switching to the form:
SRCDATE_pn-zaurusd = "20060504"
and certain interesting things like
INHIBIT_PACKAGE_STRIP_pn-zaurusd = "1"
would start to work. I've had forms of this floating around as a local
patch for a while but I thought I'd see how people feel about it.
