No problem, done.

BTW, thanks for this stuff Tim. I recently read an article called Graphic Eye for the Open Source Guy on Infoworld (http://www.infoworld.com/article/06/09/25/39OPopenent_1.html?APPLICATIONS), and it's great that this trend is changing in OFBiz, largely thanks to you and Hotwax.

Jacques or David, could you remove the Non-ASF Granted License entries (ofbiz.ico, ofbiz_logo.jpg, ofbiz_powered.gif) on this issue. Currently it's numbers 4, 7 and 9.

Thanks and sorry about that.

Cheers,
Tim

Tim Ruppert updated OFBIZ-11:
-----------------------------

    Attachment: blueSkin.patch
                khakiSkin.patch

All, so I spent a little time updating the OFBiz site with the new collateral. I didn't get too crazy as we'll have plenty of time as we reorganize to concentrate on something that will better fit what we're trying to convey.

I have attached two patches with different skins: blueSkin.patch and just to get a little wacky, khakiSkin.patch.

So that you don't have to install each of these as well as the logo files in your own instance - I've got it posted at the following addresses:

http://client.hotwaxmedia.com/ofbiz/ - Blue'ish Skin
http://client.hotwaxmedia.com/ofbiz/khaki/ - Khaki Skin

I would love to see people give some feedback as soon as possible so that we can get this posted. Committers in particular - please check this out.

Most of the changes that were done were minimal outside of the CSS:

1. Standardized the tags (Incubator, Java.net, Sourceforge, Powered By, etc) so that they use classes instead of hard coded widths/height 2. Standardized the tabs (Home, Philosophy, Marketing, etc) on all pages to use classes instead of hard coded widths - especially since it was wrong in the template :)
3. Added a favicon link to every page
4. Changed the font-face from Verdana to Arial - it looks MUCH less clunky.

add favicon to ofbiz frontend and backend

to make the ofbiz site a little nicer and show a favicon:
add the attached favicon to the website/images directory and add the following line to the header of index.html:
    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="images/favicon.ico"/>
perhaps you can it also the /images directory and add the above line to the header.ftl in the common directory?
i could not generate a diff file for this......favicon.ico attached.
