From a modeling perspective reusing an ID should be fine because
those IDs are not guaranteed to be unique or anything. Still would
you need a from/thru date for this? Would reusing the ID without the
from/thru date work? Based on what you describe a thruDate would
actually be redundant because it should be the same as the end of
life date for the FixedAsset.
