Starting from scratch, I'm a newbie. I've downloaded the latest Trunk (as of 12/18/2006) from svn, build in Eclipse was fine. Using MySQL, changed the entityengine.xml to point to it, put the MySQL JDBC driver in \framework\entity\lib\jdbc. I'm using the versions below on Windows XP, everything is local for now: 6454 (main) [ DatabaseUtil.java:765:INFO ] Database Product Name is MySQL 6454 (main) [ DatabaseUtil.java:766:INFO ] Database Product Version is 5.0.27-community-nt 6454 (main) [ DatabaseUtil.java:774:INFO ] Database Driver Name is MySQL-AB JDBC Driver 6454 (main) [ DatabaseUtil.java:775:INFO ] Database Driver Version is mysql-connector-java-5.0.4 ( $Date: 2006-10-19 17:47:48 +0200 (Thu, 19 Oct 2006) $, $Revision: 5908 $ ) 6454 (main) [ DatabaseUtil.java:776:INFO ] Database Driver JDBC Version is 3.0 Maybe I have an incompatible driver? I'm getting these errors in the log when I do a command line install in dos: java -jar ofbiz.jar -install
