Subject: [DUG-OFFTOPIC]: IP Address

Hi people

I have the need to determine my own IP address that has been assigned by my provider during a connection. I beleive there are sites that will send back your IP address when you contact them ?? I need this so a remote site can contact a base system over the internet - so the client needs to know the base systems IP to connect .

Can anyone help ??

A winsock component can provide this information. I use the one that comes with the Overbyte freeware ICS - available from  http://www.rtfm.be/fpiette/indexuk.htm
